I have been using Synergy for some time (for sharing mouse & keybaord
between 2 PCs), and I think some others here are too?
Well I've found it increasingly unreliable (copy+paste not working
properly, sometimgs crashing completely). So I've just found a fork of
the original project

.. and installed it on my Ubuntu 9.04 desktop using the instructions here:
http://code.google.com/p/synergy-plus/wiki/Compiling
.. and on my windows desktop using the Windows installer which is also
on the site.
So far it is working with my existing config files (so apart from
installing I've done nothing else). If there is anyone interested I'll
update here with anything I find.
