im new to linux .. there r many reasons why im put off by windows .. but
main reason i wanna use linux day in day out is a customiseable distro that
wud is jst specific to my needs as well as low on resources ..

DSL looks amazing .. but i havnt been able to even setup my wireless card on
it .. haha .. i know im a newbie .. cant compare myself to the ppl doin
shell instals .. but DSL is a bit tuff .. i still stand by it and one day I
WILL make it work

PUPPY .. jst as the name suggest .. a nice cuddly lil distro .. jst there
for someone to pickup and play with .. works fine for me .. hav to play
around a bit more with it to move back to good ol DSL ..

thot id giv my comments :P

btw totally off the topic here .. gadget show at nec arena in birmingham
wasnt all that .. the only thing i saw there was the alarm fitted padlocks
:s is that all the tech n gadets we hav around us :s i can enjoy lookin up
stuff online than goto such places

umar
