No CD-ROM I have the CD's, but you had to have a FDD boot from.

Kernel 1.2.1,  (why would you struggle?) well may be from a driver point of 
view but on a old meachin should be OK.  Making the best chouse for the 
instalation is the hardest part.  I useed to go for the most basic kernel that 
would alowe the PC to run in text mode then recomple.

Doing a install using this distro may be fun in the meeting esp for thouse that 
have not experinsed this.
