In addition to the comments others have made, you can also look at
things like leaky feeder cable:

Think of it like a hose with pin-holes in it leaking signal along its
length, making it ideal for hotel corridors etc. (I've never actually
had the opportunity to use it though.)
Regardless, I would recommend a chat with Solwise about projects like
this - they do know their stuff.
