On the same vein I have a C2D box up for grabs before I move house. Collection from Wisbech. Fully working just needs a new HDD.

Hi Mark
What disk interface does the motherboard have? If it's IDE, I might be interested for a data recovery project.

I've just listed an old media centre barebones PC (no HDD) on eBay but I'm not expecting it to sell. If it doesn't, is it of interest to anyone here (free)?
I thought I'd mention it while the listing is still active so you can see the photos.
It's a 3GHz Pentium (I can't remember which pentium), it was designed for Vista Media Centre so that gives you an idea of its age. On the other hand it's a good solid quiet case that might suit a new motherboard (assuming it's standard ATX, which I think is a fair assumption but haven't checked).
It's been sat on top of my wardrobe gathering dust for a couple of years and it's time to gain the space back so I can put something else up there that I really should be getting rid of instead....
