we are happy to announce an

  Informal meeting for discussing the comments on the CD ballot for ISO/IEC 
15909
  Software and Systems Engineering -- High-level Petri Nets, Part 2: Transfer 
Format

which will be held on

  January 5 and 6, 2006

at

The objective of this meeting is to
    1. discuss and informally resolve the comments and the proposals from the
       CD ballot on ISO/IEC 15909-2, to
    2. prepare proposals for settling open technical issues of ISO/IEC 15909-2, 
and to
    3. discuss future direction of ISO/IEC 15909 (e.g. Part 3)

A more detailed program can be found attached at the end of this email.

This informal meeting in Paris should complement the official editing meeting
for discussing and resolving the comments on the CD ballot on ISO/IEC 15909 
Part 2,
which will start mid December on the ISO/IEC SC7 WG19 mailinglist.



Prior to this meeting, there will be another

  Meeting on implementational issues and tool support for ISO/IEC 15909

on

  January 4, 2005

also held at

  LIP6 (Université P. & M. Curie)

10.30 -- 17.00:
  plenary, demonstration of how to build a PNML document with the
  proposed reference implementation of the standard (libraries hide
  the manipulation of XML and help tool designer to be compliant to
  the standard with minimum effort). A preliminary version of these
  libraries should be available to the community by the end of January.
  Mini-tutorial possible + discussions.


Jan. 5th, 2006 (inofficial ISO editorial meeting):

09.30--12.30:
  plenary, general presentation of the choices that have been made by the main
  contributors, of the current stage of the document and on the points to be
  discussed during the meeting

13.30--17.00:
  Make the precise agenda, working sessions and possibly, if necessary split 
into
  smaller groups to work on these points.
