I’m an Italian student who is writing my Master
Thesis: I have to solve a scheduling problem for a manufacturing cell. I’ve
created a good (I think) model with colored Petri nets with CPNTools. But I
need another tool to develop an efficient algorithm for calculate the state
space or for perform automatically several simulation and translate output into
a feasible schedule. I found some good tools like RENEW and Petri Net
Kernel, but, because my lack of experience, I’m not sure which is the
best for my purpose. I’m searching for something that is quite
simple and flexible. Please send me your comments, every help will be
