Dear member of the Petri net community, the program of the next Petri net conference held in Xi'an, China, from 23-27 June 2008.

It will be organised together with the 8th International Conference on Application of Concurrency to System Design (ACSD 2008), which shares the 6 keynote addresses: 1. Gustavo Alonso (ETH Zurich, Switzerland) "Challenges and Opportunities for Formal Specifications in Service Oriented Architectures" 4. Mike Kishinevsky (Intel, Hillsboro, Oregon, USA) "Time Elastic Digital Systems and Petri Nets" 5. Carl Adam Petri (St. Augustin, Germany) "On the Physical Basis of Information Flow - Results obtained in cooperation with Konrad Zuse" (presented by Ruediger Valk, University of Hamburg) 6. He Jifeng (East China Normal University, China) "Transaction Calculus" Further events are: 4 workshops and 2 tutorials as satellite events. 2 Sessions on Tools to support models of concurrency A Tool Exhibition allowing interaction of participants with the tool designers A vibrant Social Program, including 1.)
