Dear Petri-Netters,
We are proud to announce the new release 3.0.0 of WoPeD ("Workflow
Petrinet Designer"), an open-source Java tool for editing, manageing,
simulating and analyzing workflow nets using the well-established "van der
Aalst" notation as well as "classical" Petri nets.
The new version now adds the following features:
- Reworked GUI based on configurable ribbon menus
- Enhanced, wizard-like semantical analysis with extended visualization
options
- Java 7 compatibility
- Lots of bug fixes
WoPeD is developed at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University
Karlsruhe (DHBW), Germany. More information including the download link
can be found on the WoPeD Website www.woped.org <http://www.woped.org/>.
All people working with Petri nets in general or especially in the area of
their application to workflow management are welcome to check out and try
WoPeD. Any sort of feedback is very much appreciated and would help us
very much to improve the tool.
Best regards
Thomas Freytag
