Project Description: RollsRoyce@NTU Corporate Lab is seeking one Research Fellow and one Research Assistant for the project of "Framework for Rapid Simulation of Complex Business Systems. The project is led by Dr. Xing Zhenchang and Dr. Liu Yang in Nanyang Technological University.
The goal of the project is to develop novel approach for encapsulating high-level business knowledge and logic of a given application domain in patterns and frameworks, which can be reused and be applied to describe a process for a given business in the domain and to simulate the execution of the business process. Research fellow will be involved in requirement analysis, literature survey, framework design and development, and case studies in the project. Research Assistant will be involved in framework design and development and case studies in the project. Both contracts are 1 year starting immediately and renewable to 4 years based on the performance. Requirements for Research Fellow PhD degree in computer sciences, computer engineering or related discipline Demonstrated competence in one or more of the following areas: software engineering, formal methods (particularly formal modeling), agent-based modeling and simulation, business modeling languages, business and software patterns, model-driven development.
