Applications are invited for two tenure-track Assistant Professor positions. The term of appointments will start August 2015. These positions are contingent upon availability of funds.
The Oklahoma State University (OSU) Computer Science Department is seeking applications from qualified candidates in all areas of Computer Science with emphasis on Big Data and the related fields. A Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related area is required. The positions being sought are for the main OSU campus in Stillwater; however, duties may be assigned to either the OSU-Stillwater campus, the OSU satellite campus in Tulsa, or both. The OSU Computer Science Department is a growing department that is committed strongly to the goal of excellence in research, teaching, and outreach. The Department offers the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science and is in the process of implementing a graduate certificate program in Big Data Analytics. The Department also offers courses to students at remote sites using interactive video and the Internet. There are currently about 220 undergraduate students and about 80 graduate students enrolled in the Department.
