Hi, Highly motivated applicants are sought to work on developing and applying attestation techniques for real-world systems. The project aims to conduct research on practical attestation techniques which could be applied to real-world cyber-physical systems (SCADA systems with PLCs). The postdocs will work with the iTrust research center and interact with the iTrust lab staff as well as other researchers in the group. Once hired, the candidate will have the opportunity to travel overseas to collaborate with partners of the project, including Oxford University, MIT, etc.
The position involves conducting research on developing attestation algorithms based on TPM, trust-zone or software techniques. We would like to highlight that the iTrust lab provides physical test-beds which would facilitate implementing and experimenting the proposed algorithms. The working language is English. The general requirements on the candidate are: - A PhD in Computer Science or related areas. - Strong background in logic. - Strong programming skills. - An established research record. Experiment on working with real systems will be highly regarded. The term is currently one to three years starting as early as August 2015. The salary range is 65K - 80K per annual. Yearly variable bonus is based on the performance. Singapore's tax is around 3%-5% of the annual salary. 1USD = 1.25 SGD.
