The PhD course in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Udine, Italy, welcomes candidates applying for 14 three-year positions (11 covered by scholarship). Applicants will focus their research project on topics that include, but are not limited to the list in https://www.dmif.uniud.it/dottorato/iai/

Specific funding will be reserved for applicants submitting projects within the following titles:

- Formal verification and testing for parametric software product lines
- Reconfigurable and trustworthy pandemic simulations
- Condition monitoring and predictive maintenance of complex industrial systems
- Planning and scheduling for flexible manufacturing
- Meta-learning for 3D representations
- Organization, digitization and indexing of clinical and biological databases
- Research and development of control systems for low-carbon impact

The PhD course in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence has opened funded agreements with Fondazione Bruno Kessler (www.fbk.eu/en/), CRO Aviano (www.cro.sanita.fvg.it/it/) and ISTC-CNR (www.istc.cnr.it/en).

The deadline for application is July 21, 2021.
