I'd like to fix gmake. I use macports and see: 19:04 master ~/Codes/petsc$ which gmake /opt/local/bin/gmake 19:08 master ~/Codes/petsc$ gmake --version GNU Make 3.82 Built for x86_64-apple-darwin12.1.0 Copyright (C) 2010 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
