I am currently working on a cluster where I would like to use PETSc with CUDA support. In particular, I am interested in whether it is possible to combine VECCUDA with VECGHOST.
I have searched through the documentation and but have not found explicit examples. May I ask: - Has
VECCUDA been used successfully together with VECGHOST?
VECGHOST just uses two regular vectors (a local form and a ghosted form), and VecScatter to map between them. Those vectors can be of any type. - If so, are there recommended approaches, examples, or best practices to follow?
I don't think you have to do anything special. Have you had a problem?
