thx all for reply,
another question, what is the best obsd plateform for PF use ?
-SMP is more faster than UP ? (PF fw plateform)
-amd64 is more faster than i386 ? (PF fw plateform)
maybe best plateform is last processor dualcore/quadcore with obsd_i386_UP ?
Best Regards

no.

kernel runs on one cpu.

you cannot change that without solving hundreds or thousands of locking
issues. and wether it would be any faster than is all but certain too.

maybe it is possible run PF nat on 1 cpu, PF fw on 2 cpu, and for example
irq network card on 3 cpu and qos on 4 cpu ?
