Tools to help manage PF

All,   Does anyone know of a way that I can manage hits against an access-list/pf rule. The request was made that if there are rules put in place on the firewall to block certain nastiness they would like to track hits on that certain rule. And if there are not hits on that rule within 30 days it would then be removed but every time there is a hit the 30 day rule starts over. Can anyone make a recommendation on how this could easily be accomplished with pf?     Thank you
