Subject: pf firewall box "stutters"

Would love some suggestions on what to check to find out why one of my OBSD
boxes is stuttering. By stuttering i mean network connectivity goes away
but comes back.. It simply drops packets on both inside and outside
interfaces, the interfaces as far as the switch is concerned stay up and
running (i.e. they dont bounce) there are no errors (rx or tx) on the
switch ports that these connect to.

Running OpenBSD 3.3 w/PF. If i Disable pf while this happens i get same
result (i.e. it doesn't matter if pf is enabled or disabled). I noticed
that my clock is off, and it could be that the system is freezing, but i
have yet to be able to verify that. Its running on a P4 1.8Ghz, Tyan MB,
256m ram, two fxp's and it ran fine for 8 months, it was rebooted (hard
reboot, via remote power strip) last week and since then has done this twice
when traffic gets "high" and high for this box is 3 to 4 mbps, it averages
~ 0.7mbps

Nothing in the logs.

What would you check next?
