--- Comment #31 from d...@rabson.org --- I've finally had time to get back to this today and I've opened a review (https://reviews.freebsd.org/D40256) with my proposal which adds optional pfil hooks to capture the missing event for messages delivered locally. The only difference with the patch attached here is that its rebased and I added a unit test.
