Hi,

I had a simular problem. It was solved by putting following expression in
the format-expression (expression tab on the column object properties
window) :

if(qty_period_1 - int(qty_period_1)=0,'#,##0','#,##0.######')

where 'qty_period_1' is the column name.

Hope this helps.

Hello!

I have a column in a datawindow ( Datawindow which i am printing )
, the column is a real data type column. The problem I face is as
follows.

1) My client wants the column value to be Integer ( without
decimal point and leading zeroes ) when the value of the column
is an integer.

2) When the column value is real it has to any how print the
real value.

3) I tried to format the column with editmask.

Any solutions for solving my problem.

Thanks in advance.

Sathish Chandrasekaran.
