PFCSIG saveas on a tabpage

I have several windows that contain tabpages with datawindows and they share
a common ancestor window(no tabs). I would like to code as saveas function
in the ancestor window to dynamically recognize and save the active dw in
the descendant. Any ideas how to generically code this?
