#383: Inconsistent display of NULL and empty string values --------------------------------+------------------------------------------- Reporter: Arkadiusz Piekarz | Owner: dpage Type: feature | Status: new Priority: minor | Milestone: Component: pgadmin | Version: trunk Keywords: querytool editdata | Platform: all --------------------------------+------------------------------------------- Hello, I have a usability problem with pgAdmin, namely it displays certain values in different ways depending on a part of the application. Here is a screenshot of the problem: http://i.imgur.com/xrEYt.jpg
NULL values are shown as <NULL> in the query editor, but as empty cells in the data editor. Empty strings are shown as empty cells in the query editor, but they are double apostrophes in the data one. This issue makes it hard to check data in the tables, because you constantly have to remind yourself how the data is represented in each view. -- Ticket URL: <http://code.pgadmin.org/trac/ticket/383> pgAdmin III <http://code.pgadmin.org/trac/> pgAdmin III -- Sent via pgadmin-hackers mailing list (pgadmin-hackers@postgresql.org) To make changes to your subscription: http://www.postgresql.org/mailpref/pgadmin-hackers
