I read Nigel Tucker's issue with pgAdmin4 and Windows 10, as well as Dave Page's response. I am having the same problem. I'm running pgsql 9.6 and pgadmin 4.1.1 - the application crashes constantly. Most significantly when attempting to open a database after a successful connection. It also crashed doing an explain-plan on SQL I had written to create two simple tables after about 4 minutes of spinning.
This his happening constantly on my system - and while I prefer and use RHEL for production, I wanted to run on Windows as an alternative development and testing platform. *Windows 10 Application Logs show:* *-* *Provider* [ *Name*] Application Error *-* *EventID* 1000 [ *Qualifiers*] 0 *Level* 2 *Task* 100 *Keywords* 0x80000000000000 *-* *TimeCreated* [ *SystemTime*] 2016-11-17T13:08:59.478924400Z *EventRecordID* 6213 *Channel* Application *Computer* PHRACTURE *Security* Faulting application name: pgAdmin4.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x580f2731Faulting module name: Qt5WebKit.dll, version: 5.5.1.0, time stamp: 0x561c1e4cException code: 0xc0000005Fault offset: 0x005153f0Faulting process id: 0x1ea0Faulting application start time: 0x01d240d3af364f2cFaulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\pgAdmin 4\v1\runtime\pgAdmin4.exeFaulting module path: C:\Program Files (x86)\pgAdmin 4\v1\runtime\Qt5WebKit.dllReport Id: cfbe0175-c883-490a-bf1e-960d41fe0c20Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: *-* *EventData* pgAdmin4.exe 0.0.0.0 580f2731 Qt5WebKit.dll 5.5.1.0 561c1e4c c0000005 005153f0 1ea0 01d240d3af364f2c C:\Program Files (x86)\pgAdmin 4\v1\runtime\pgAdmin4.exe C:\Program Files (x86)\pgAdmin 4\v1\runtime\Qt5WebKit.dll cfbe0175-c883-490a-bf1e-960d41fe0c20 -- -DM DigitalMechanic
