Hello Frineds, i wannt to get postgresl cluster file system level backup. My scenario is like this:
*1.Step ) Pre Synchronization* rsync -avHK --delete /var/lib/pgsql/ /backup/pgsql/ *2. Step.) Stop Service for consistent Backup * systemctl stop postgresql-9.5 *3. Step.) Make File System Level Backup* rsync -avHK --delete /var/lib/pgsql/ /backup/pgsql/ *4.Step.) Start Service Again* systemctl start postgresql-9.5 *In This Scenario * *I ask to you , can we lock all databases for write , delete and update query during the backup Instead of stopping the service. ??*
