Hallo,
using pgPool-II 2.2.2 I still was able to create a test case (100
Threads are continuous performing queries) where the client seems not to
be able to perform any more queries after some time. However after
exiting the client everything works normal again which wasn't the case
with the older pgPool-II version. It seems that there are no free
database connections available to perform any more queries. I don't know
if this is a problem with pgpPool-II or with my test client. However I
was able to solve my problem by increasing num_init_children and setting
max_pool to 1.
