I have recently installed pgpool and slony (pgpool-II-2.2.2 &
slony1-2.0.2). Both of them work fine if I use them one by one. If I run
pgpool with the slony master node, everything works fine, but when I add
in the slony slave node to the mix, I get the following error:
2009-06-26 17:57:56 ERROR: pid 9785: pool_read_kind: kind does not match
between master(69) slot[1] (83)
2009-06-26 17:57:56 ERROR: pid 9785: pool_do_auth: failed to read kind
before BackendKeyData
Both databases are being properly synced by sloney, so I can't
understand why the mismatch error is occuring, I have the pgpool
master_slave_mode option set to true, replication_mode to false,
load_balance_mode to false and replication_stop_on_mismatch to false.
Does anyone know why this error is occuring?
