The problem is that a few constructs became obsolete between 6.1 (or 6.2.1
in my case) and 6.4, and even a nice-and-simple pg_dump doesn't work. It's
the same problem I'm beating my head against at the moment.
So you'll need a 6.1 backend to make the data accessible, and you'll need
to dump and change all the schemas in all the database to conform to 6.4
syntax, and then you'll be able to copy the table contents over without
much hassle...
