This test does fail under FreeBSD and v6.4.2 ... FreeBSD uses a
non-standard method of representing long long for printf that we've
compensated for in v6.5 ... this one does pass in v6.5
What I would recommend, now that v6.5 has been put into BETA, is
to try out the latest snapshot...I'm just about to do so here...there have
been uncountable fixes put in place between the v6.4.2 and the current
BETA, with the int8 one being just one of them...
Note that, on Monday, the first *official* BETA tar file will be
put on the ftp site, right now all that is there are snapshots ...
