Hi
again-
In case I can't find the answer to my previous question, I
have another question:
If I have PostgreSQL preinstalled on a server
with Redhat, and I want to re-compile, what is the best way to prepare for the
re-compile to ensure that there won't be any conflicting files?
Should I delete the following
directories?
/usr/include/pgsql/
/var/lib/pgsql/
and remove all pgsql files from /usr/bin/
?
Anything else to do?
Or, should I just be able to install into a new
directory no problem?
Thanks,
