Can tsearch V1 and V2 exist in the same database simultaneously?
I have read in past that its difficult , but is it possible for the
desperate?

in a database containing tsearch1

psql tsearch < tsearch2.sql

SET
BEGIN
NOTICE: CREATE TABLE / PRIMARY KEY will create implicit index
"pg_ts_dict_pkey" for table "pg_ts_dict"
CREATE TABLE
ERROR: function "lexize" already exists with same argument types
ERROR: current transaction is aborted, commands ignored until end of
