Either don't use SQL_INHERITANCE=false, or specify that you want to act upon the entire tree using the older syntax which I think would look like ALTER TABLE first* add column ... (note the *) ---------------------------(end of broadcast)--------------------------- TIP 7: don't forget to increase your free space map settings
