The statistics collector is optional, so you should get away with it. The error message refers to lack of support for datagram sockets; you should think about whether your system or your jail, respectively, needs that.
Toma ... can you check if this is something DragonFly is missing? I'm running several jails with 7.4.5 in it, and have no probs with the stats collector:
