Would you be willing to share this script at
http://pgfoundry.org/projects/pgpitrha/ ? Or maybe another project would
be worth starting... I know right now everyone is pretty much rolling
their own when it comes to dealing with PITR, so it'd be good to at
least get all the scripts in one place...
