One more bit of information. The master table has exactly 3 rows missing. They were all inserted half a year ago within one minute and no other rows have been inserted in between them.
Is it possible that we lost a consistent piece of data (like a block or a page)? What can I do to track it down? I suspect it is a bug in PostgreSQL.
