[GENERAL] How to configure pgsql to store chinese?

Hi all,

I have my pgsql 7.0.2 with such configure
--enable-locale --enable-multibyte=EUC_TW
and I created a db with "createdb -E EUC_TW testdb,
however, I got "�w" instead of "�W" in chinese display.
any idea?
