The hardware :
an intel server board S5500BC,
intel xeon quad core 2GHz processor,
8Gb RAM
and RAID.

The OS is debian linux-lenny
Here are the `uname` details:
Linux central-hu 2.6.26-2-686-bigmem #1 SMP Wed Aug 19 06:34:05 UTC 2009
i686 GNU/Linux

The postgres version is 8.3. The database was dumped by `pgdump` and it
was reloaded by `psql -f`.
