Hate to burst your bubble, but the RAID controller that Dell ships is an Adaptec OEM. Dell just rebrands them.
They also rebrand LSI. I'm saying that the versions they sell don't seem to perform as well as the manufacturer branded ones from what I've compared with other folks.
