I think this should read:

SELECT TIMESTAMP WITH TIME ZONE 'epoch' AT TIME ZONE 'UTC' + <x> * INTERVAL '1 
second';
/*                                      ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ */

to conform with the *n*x standard.
