CTID always works:

        SELECT ctid, otherstuff FROM table WHERE ... ;

        eyeball otherstuff to determine row you wish to hack

        UPDATE table SET ... WHERE ctid = '...';

Note: the act of UPDATE changes the row's ctid, don't be surprised.
