Thanks for you help and prompt response. In the first instance we'd like to know what might be different about jabiru from the openbsd7/clang11 instances Tom and I have just successfully tested on. In the last resort we might need to run ecpg under a debugger on jabiru to see why it's failing there and not elsewhere.
