Hi folks, I have a project which uses Postgres asynchronous notifications pretty heavily. It has a particularly Fun failure mode which causes the notification queue to fill up. To better debug this problem I'd like to be able to monitor the size of the notification queue over time.
It doesn't look like we have a pg_notify_queue_size() or equivalent. Should we? Or would I be better off just watching the size of the pg_notify/ directory on disk?
