Now I have spare time between projects, so I can work on it full-time. At least it's worth a try, isn't it? Anyway, I'm working to better understand the problem, trying to identify at least the main involved points. At the moment I'm figuring out how the inherit mechanism works for relations (in tablecmds.c).. Then I'll figure out about how indexes work.. I guess you discussed this plenty of time already in the past, but I didn't found it in the archive. Any hint for old discussions? I'll try to come out with a list of potential things to do, for you guys to validate and discuss.
