I wanted to have another round at trying it here and get a better understanding at my failures of the previous time, but that's not a blocker at all. I had another look at it and it looks ready to me too. Minor detail: you seem to have forgotten to apply the postgres(ql)? regexp to the GNU Make mode in the emacs.samples file.
