It's this (older) assertion in HeapTupleHeaderGetCmax(): Assert(TransactionIdIsCurrentTransactionId(HeapTupleHeaderGetUpdateXid(tup))); That can allocate memory if xmax is a multixact... Does anybody have a better idea to solve this than adding a CritSectionCount == 0 && in there?
