Unless someone else picks it up, it won't make it. I had updated Omar's patch to the 8.2 codebase and submitted it to -patches. While working on it a bit later, I found that there are big problems with it such that it really should be rewritten from scratch. If someone is willing to take it on, I'd be glad to discuss the issues though. -- Jonah H.
