Um, Hyper-Threading? On AMD?
Hyper-Threading is a feature only offered by Intel, on some Pentium 4
chips.
It is not offered by AMD. For our purposes, this is no loss; database
benchmarks have widely shown it to be a performance loser across
various database systems.
