Came across the KolibriOS assembly based OS a while ago. Think while reviewing other distributions, or maybe even by past post here.
http://www.kolibrios.org/ What I found neat, were neatly written assembly functions within it's source code. Everything there is written in assembly and the source code is easily viewed.
