Upon rereading your mail, I think that my first response was off base
... the answer is that it is semi-automatic in that I use the method
ConfigurationOfMetacello class>>releaseMetacelloVersion to do all of the
copying ... I've used it for the last several releases and since it is
running smoothly I will probably add it to the OB-Metacello menu in some
form - assuming that that is what you mean by automatic?
