Appearantly the bug is in the menu selection. If you run phatch with the
'--unsafe' option it works fine.

Bug description:
The geek action refuses to run even when the safe mode is deselected from the
Tools menu. To reproduce:
1. Select the geek action from list
2. Deselect safe mode from the menu
3. Try to run the action
You'll get an error message that the geek action is not allowed in safe mode
