Yup. And that's the real problem. None of the top 5 mail apps/services implement their encoding the same way, and all of them fail RFC compliance in different ways. But users expect email sent from those services to be accepted and display correctly. D. Sayers really seems to know his stuff though, and I'd love to see things become more RFC-compliant so I certainly wouldn't object to this addition.
